Organizing...

I strive to keep our house tidy and uncluttered, but I've been thinking of the things in closets lately and the need to get organized.  So, over the last couple of days when moments allow I've been going through Evee's closet, my section of our closet, my desk area, and Evee's craft stuff that was getting crazily built up on top of her bookshelf.

This picture is mostly to show that there is now nothing on top of my desk.

A full, but organized closet space and the whole other side is essentially empty (for storage and for thinking of where to put stuff for a new one).

Organization of the crafts.  Now there is one container of stuff on top of the bookshelf (the one from her birthday last year) and then some regularly used stuff in this basket that can go anywhere.  

Lots of stuff to pass on.  The one thing that had been hard was getting rid of clothes we've been given.  After realizing, though, that there are more clothes than any one child could wear (especially my child, who I tend to dress like myself - wearing the same items fairly consistently).  Letting it go now...

Still need to work on the dining area dresser...one drawer desperately needs to be gone through.  I'll save that for next week maybe :).

My home is more peaceful to me, even though it wouldn't look different to anyone else.  Now to actually clean...
