Gratitude

I have a couple posts in the works, but am waiting to put pictures with them. For the life of me, I cannot find the cord that hooks from the camera to the computer to load the pictures onto the computer... Soon hopefully. It's too bad since I have some great pictures of the crazy amounts of snow we've been getting.

So, I thought I would just post anyway...a gratitude post since I'm feeling the need to be grateful anyway.

I'm thankful for snow days every once in awhile.

I'm thankful for a husband who is currently cleaning off the (at least a) foot of snow on our car so I can get to work.

I'm thankful that I've been able to lay in bed a bit longer the last 2 mornings because Clint didn't get up at 6:30 to get started on his own work (so there was another person to get up with Evee).

I'm thankful that we live close enough to walk to friends houses, have dinner together, and watch Lost - even though we couldn't have driven anywhere last night.

I'm thankful that I am able to do work from home and that I have a girl who is so adaptable - to busy days and ones that are laid back. The other day she worked on puzzles on my bed while I worked at my desk for awhile and who right now I can hear reading a book on the couch while I write this at my desk.

I am thankful for chocolate chip cookies and other good things to eat.

I'm thankful for sunshine and the brightness that is coming through intensely as the light hits the snow.

I'm thankful for the people that are certain in my life. Those who when I feel insecure, I would not dream of feeling insecure with them (or at least can remind myself that I don't need to feel that way). First off Clint, but the others who...I may talk with a lot or a little...who I may see often or very far in between...who may be close and may be far. Those who somehow can always put my mind at ease when I think of them and am in wonder that they are apart of my life. It brings great peace...
