the weekend + a monday

Evee's kindy/preschool's "challenge-a-thon".  A bbq, meeting other families, watching the kids go through an obstacle course.  Hanging out with friends visiting from Australia, showing them around Christchurch.  You know, all the cool stuff, like the "challenge-a-thons" :).

Our after dinner entertainment on the first gathering of those possibly interested in "The Well".  Which, you can read more about in the next email update, if you're signed up for them.   It was wonderful.

A coffee date with this sweet one.  Always a treat.

Looking across the way at two older women, maps and journals and calendars in hand.  Seemingly planning out a trip.  Remembering that life can always be adventurous and exciting, if we make it to be so.

Lots of looking...on local auction sites and ideas from design books and magazines...for how to furnish our house which we move into next Monday (!!!).  Thinking of a number of design conversations over Christmas with Josh and Joni and they make me smile every single time.

And starting off this lovely week with a trip to a beach 15 minutes away.  Sure, it was chilly, but it was sunny and beautiful.

Hoping for a lovely week for you.
