Even though we didn't get too many people at our initial neighbourhood get together, by passing out invites at least our neighbours kind of knew our names or at least that a new family moved in. It's possibly helped a few conversations get started...

I love that now when we walk down the street, to and from school, we often pass a house or a person to wave or say hello to.
