Community takes effort. I remember this now when it sort of feels like we are dating around - meeting new people, having them over for dinner, asking similar questions, sharing similar answers.
And I do love it. I love getting to know people. I naturally wonder about their lives. But, it does take some effort. Getting a bit outside yourself. Bringing yourself to take a chance.
I am reminded of all the beautiful relationships in my life and that they all took time to get where they are now. Some happen quite quickly while others are a slow and steady process.
In the end, it's worth it, these relationships. So we will continue on...and we will love it.
