As wonderful as it has been to be with family and knowing that family cannot be replaced, I am thinking about passing the peace this week and am so thankful for the wonderful friends that have always been around us! From friends who have insisted that we go out and they'd watch Evee to friends that we've been able to swap with, I'm thankful for communities of people who are willing to "be family" in a sense when there is no family around. What an amazing blessing to be a part of others' lives and families, to live in community, and to be there to help each other out!
Although we end up doing babysitting swaps causally, I talk about a couple of different ways to do it here. When it works, its a beautiful thing :).
