Hopefully I can post some pictures later, but just wanted to get the recipe posted. It's kind of a mix of different recipes and has good flavor to it.
2 Tbsp. ground sesame seed (I had some sesame seeds so I just toasted them and ground them up best I could. Most recipes call for tahini so you could use that instead of grinding your own sesame seeds up!)
2 gloves garlic - minced or crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cummin
2 tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 15 1/2 ounce can chick peas (save 1/4 cup of the juice and put that in with all ingredients)
Put all into blender and blend until smooth. Add extra water if you'd like it thinner.
It's really good and zesty. We got pita and dipped it into the hummus.
